Akanksha Singh, the 24-year-old granddaughter of late Ranveer Sena chief Brahmeshwar Mukhiya, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing 301st rank in the UPSC exam on her second attempt.

A student of Catholic Mission School, Akanksha graduated in English from HD Jain College and was selected for the IRS (Indian Revenue Service).

In an interview, Akanksha revealed that she had been passionate about cracking the UPSC exam from the very beginning and had studied for eight to 10 hours daily.

Akanksha's achievement is all the more remarkable given her grandfather's troubled past, with 22 murder cases filed against him.

Mukhiya was shot dead by unidentified assailants in 2012, but it seems his legacy lives on through his granddaughter's remarkable achievement.
