A 25-year-old woman was shot at a Gurugram club in the early hours of December 20 after allegedly refusing a marriage proposal from a man. According to the police, the incident occurred on MG Road, where the woman was working. Her husband reported the incident, stating that she had been shot by Tushar, a 25-year-old resident of Delhi's Sangam Vihar. Tushar, who had been in a relationship with the woman for about six months, had proposed to her multiple times, but she had consistently refused. On the night of December 19, Tushar and his friend Shubham, also from Sangam Vihar, went to the club, where Tushar proposed to the woman again. When she refused, he allegedly shot her. The police arrested Tushar and Shubham from Baraut in Uttar Pradesh and are questioning them. The woman is receiving treatment at a private hospital. The police have registered an FIR at the Sector 29 police station and are conducting further investigations.
