Banks across India will remain closed for several days between March 30 to April 5, 2026, due to festivals and the weekend.
The RBI bank holiday calendar will be followed by all public and private sector banks, including SBI, PNB, HDFC, ICICI, Axis Bank, and others.

- March 30: Mahavir Jayanti in Karnataka
- March 31: Mahavir Janmakalyanak/Mahavir Jayanti in multiple states
- April 1: Annual closing of accounts in multiple states
- April 2: Maundy Thursday in Kerala
- April 3: Good Friday in multiple states
- April 5: Weekend off
Bank holidays vary by region, depending on the festivals and observances in each region.
However, digital banking services will continue to function without interruption during these holidays.
