The INDIA bloc of opposition parties will focus on the NEET exam paper leak and the on-screen-marking of CBSE Class XII answersheets in their upcoming meeting, a Rajya Sabha member revealed.
The meeting, the first since December 2023, comes as the bloc struggles to regain momentum after losing the national elections and winning only two of 14 state elections.
The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, which defeated the DMK in the recent elections in Tamil Nadu, may not be invited to the meeting due to its lack of MPs.
The INDIA bloc will also discuss the BJP's alleged 'vote chori' in Haryana, Maharashtra, Bihar, and West Bengal, as well as the role of the judiciary.
The meeting aims to launch a joint campaign against the BJP for the 2029 Lok Sabha elections, with the bloc's pet peeves and the OSM scandal also on the agenda.
The Central Bureau of Investigation is probing the NEET paper leak, which forced the government to cancel the test and order a fresh one.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had demanded the education minister's resignation over the OSM issue and the NEET paper leak.
