The India Meteorological Department has warned of thunderstorms and rainfall across North India, with Delhi expected to see very light to light rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds.
The national capital may witness similar weather conditions on April 3 and 4, with temperatures expected to rise gradually over the next three days.
Over the past 24 hours, Delhi recorded a slight fall in maximum temperatures, while minimum temperatures remained largely unchanged, according to IMD data.
The North and Northwest parts of India are expected to see challenging weather over the coming days, bringing light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds across several states.
Widespread rainfall or snowfall along with thunderstorms and gusty winds may affect Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad, as well as Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand between April 3 and April 6.
