Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke led a massive protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, calling for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination and recruitment test lapses.
The protesters, mostly young people, demanded digitalisation in education only after proper training, normal functioning of education in Manipur, fairness and credibility in competitive examinations, focus on issues affecting students and parents, and accountability and attention to students' mental health.
Dipke stated, 'You may be able to delete our posts, but you cannot erase us from this space.' The protest saw heavy security deployment and was attended by hundreds of people, including school students and young professionals.
