The Capacity Building Commission is set to host a week-long conclave, Sadhana Saptah, from April 2-8 to strengthen governance capabilities across central and state government departments.
The event is structured around three themes: technology, tradition, and tangible outcomes. Under technology, it will discuss AI and emerging technologies, while Indian knowledge systems and indigenous innovations will be another focus area.
The conclave aims to have each ministry/department articulate two priority technology interventions, two sector-relevant indigenous or traditional models, and three measurable outcome commitments for 2026–27.
It will also mark the launch of initiatives under Mission Karmayogi, including Karmayogi Kshamata Connect, a programme to capacitate frontline functionaries, and a half-day programme on capacity building for viksit panchayat.
The CBC has also developed a three-day programme for scientists transitioning into higher administrative roles, focusing on governance, decision-making, and institutional leadership.
