New Delhi, The Central Information Commission has directed Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited to disclose the action taken on a complaint alleging black marketing of domestic LPG cylinders.

The CIC passed the direction while hearing an RTI application seeking details of the action taken on a complaint against a Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited distributor in Mohali, Punjab.

BPCL initially refused to share the details citing 'commercially sensitive information', but the CIC rejected this claim and ordered the company to issue a revised reply clearly stating the actual action taken on the complaint.
