Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, condemning the attacks on the Gulf country and expressing gratitude for the care of Indian nationals living in the UAE.

Modi expressed support for de-escalation, regional peace, security, and stability.

Iranian attacks have left three people dead and 58 injured, including an Indian national who is now out of danger.

The UAE intercepted 165 ballistic missiles, with 152 destroyed and 13 falling into the sea.

The strikes are a response to the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a joint US-Israeli airstrike.
