The Indian government has issued a travel advisory for its citizens, warning them against traveling to Iran due to ongoing regional tensions.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) advised Indian citizens to avoid traveling to Iran and to leave the country using designated land border routes.
The advisory was issued in view of reports that some flights between India and Iran have resumed.
However, the MEA stated that airspace restrictions and operational uncertainties continue to affect international flight operations to and from Iran.
Iranian airports have been closed since the US-Israel-Iran war began on February 28.
