India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh issued a stern warning to the country's neighbour, stating that any 'misadventure' would be met with an 'unprecedented and decisive' response.
The warning comes amid the ongoing Iran war, which has led to a full-blown conflict in the Middle East.
Singh made the remarks at a Sainik Samman Sammelan in Kerala, where he also assured that Indian Navy ships are safely escorting the country's tankers through the Strait of Hormuz.
The Defence Minister's comments appeared to be directed at Pakistan, against which India launched Operation Sindoor military strikes in May last year in response to a deadly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam.
Singh also dismissed rumours of a fuel crisis in the country, stating that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel, or gas, and that India is prepared to deal with any energy crisis.
