The Indian embassy in Abu Dhabi has issued an advisory to Indian nationals in the UAE, warning them not to take photographs or record videos of sites where incidents have taken place and not to upload or circulate such images on digital or social media platforms.

The warning comes as a war rages in the Middle East amid tensions between the United States, backed by Israel, and Iran.

The UAE authorities have warned that strict action will be taken against anyone involved in unauthorized filming of incident locations, restricted areas, or inside airports.

The Indian embassy has advised nationals to follow safety measures, including proceeding to a safe place immediately when a warning alert is heard, avoiding sharing images of incident sites, and reporting suspicious objects to the authorities.

The advisory also warns against taking photographs or recording videos inside airports during arrival or departure.

The UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain have intercepted Iranian attacks, while the UAE and Kuwait have begun cutting oil production due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
