Vehicular traffic was restored on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway after clearing of landslides that blocked road connectivity in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir for a day.
Passenger vehicles are now allowed to ply from both directions on the highway, following clearance of landslides on Tuesday morning.
Over 400 vehicles were stranded at different places on the highway, but these were cleared first.
The traffic police has advised commuters to follow lane discipline and not pay heed to rumours, and to verify road status through official channels.
