The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) 2026 has officially commenced in Saudi Arabia, as confirmed by the Indian Embassy in Riyadh. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), JEE-Main is a crucial examination for students aiming to pursue engineering courses at premier institutes in India, including the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

The development comes after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) cancelled all board examinations in several Middle East countries amid the ongoing conflict, sparking speculation about the upcoming JEE Main exam in the region.

The Indian Embassy has emphasized its full support to the NTA and the designated examination centre, ensuring a smooth and seamless conduct of the exams. A significant number of Indian students residing in Saudi Arabia are registered to appear for the examination, and the embassy has made logistical arrangements to avoid any disruptions.

The Indian mission has extended its encouragement to the students, wishing them the very best for their exams and great success ahead.
