Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Tuesday sidestepped questions about a possible change in Karnataka's leadership, saying 'time will answer'.

Shivakumar's comments came as the Congress government approaches the halfway mark of its term, sparking discussion about a reported power-sharing understanding in 2023.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has asserted that his government will continue for two more years under his leadership, but pressure for a cabinet reshuffle has been building within the party.

State Home Minister G Parameshwara emphasized that any leadership decision rests with the Chief Minister and the party's central leadership.

A group of around 40 legislators, many with multiple terms, plan to travel to New Delhi after the bypolls to press for inclusion in the ministry.
