A chilling discovery has shaken Ludhiana, Punjab, as the mutilated remains of a 30-year-old man, Davinder, were found in an empty plot near a private school. The victim's body had been brutally cut into three parts, with one section showing signs of partial burning. The other portions were concealed inside a white plastic barrel dumped at the site. Davinder had arrived in Ludhiana from Mumbai just two days prior to his murder. He briefly stopped by his home before heading out again, never to return. Early investigations suggest a close acquaintance, Shera, who lives nearby, as the prime suspect. CCTV footage allegedly shows Shera and another individual transporting a drum containing Davinder's body to the vacant plot, where it was eventually found. The police are questioning Shera, the second suspect, residents, and the victim's family members to piece together the events. The motive behind the killing remains unclear, with investigators suspecting the crime took place elsewhere and the body was abandoned at the location to destroy evidence. This gruesome discovery has sent shockwaves in the community, following another grim incident of an unidentified body found in an open field nearby. The police are working to establish the identity of the second victim and resolve both cases.
