West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced plans to file a legal case against Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his 'violent remarks' ahead of the state's Assembly elections.
Shah sparked controversy with a warning to TMC workers, saying they would be 'hanged upside down' if they caused trouble after polls.
Banerjee described Shah's comments as 'unacceptable' and accused him of using 'forceful language' that would fail to resonate with Bengal's voters.
The second phase of the Assembly elections is set to take place on April 29, with counting of votes scheduled for May 4.
