Mamata Unveils 10-Promises Manifesto for West Bengal Polls

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has unveiled a 10-point manifesto ahead of the state assembly polls. The promises focus on financial support for women and unemployed youth, housing for all, doorstep healthcare, aid for farmers, and more.

The TMC has pledged to continue the Lakshmir Bhandar scheme, providing women with a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500 to ₹1,700, depending on their category. The party has also promised to increase the amount by ₹500.

Additionally, the Banglar Yuba-Sathi scheme will continue, providing ₹1,500 per month to unemployed youth. The party has also pledged a ₹30,000 crore agriculture budget to support farm families and modernise the sector.

The TMC has also promised to launch doorstep delivery of healthcare services called 'Duare Chikitsa', which will provide quality healthcare to people at their doorstep. All government schools will undergo comprehensive infrastructure upgrades under the Banglar Shikshayatan initiative.

Banerjee has also targeted the BJP, accusing it of administrative interference and raising concerns over governance during the election period. She has urged people to remain united and vigilant, calling on them to resist any attempts to disturb peace and democracy in the state.
