Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand recently visited Senapati district, laying foundation stones for various projects to boost development in the region. The CM was accompanied by senior officials and local MLAs, and inaugurated key infrastructure projects including a multi-level parking facility and an inter-state transportation hub.
During his visit, the CM emphasized the importance of balanced and inclusive development across the state, stating that Manipur's progress relies on the development of all districts. He also hailed the support of local civil society organizations in restoring peace and normalcy in the region.
The CM's visit was marked by a series of inaugurations and foundation stone-laying ceremonies, including the launch of 69 Anganwadi centres under the SASCI initiative. The visit also saw the CM meeting with local MLA Haokholet Kipgen in Kangpokpi district, where he reiterated his government's commitment to ensuring peace, stability, and inclusive development across all regions.
