Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked citizens not to pay attention to rumors and to spread only verified information amid fears of a LPG shortage due to the widening West Asia conflict.
Addressing a rally in poll-bound Tamil Nadu, PM Modi expressed confidence that India will navigate every situation successfully and reiterated the Centre's commitment to prioritizing the nation's interests.
He also thanked Gulf nations for looking after Indian nationals residing there and assured the public that the government is working to ensure all possible help to Indians in West Asia.
The Centre has revealed that India's crude oil supply remains secure and uninterrupted, with access to about 55 lakh barrels of crude oil per day.
However, officials have urged the public not to panic and have taken several measures to deal with supply disruptions.
