A woman in Mumbai has shared her side of the story after she confronted Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA, Girish Mahajan, over traffic chaos caused by a protest demonstration.
According to Teena Chaudhry, she was stuck in the traffic jam for hours as she was on her way to pick her daughter up from music classes.
Chaudhry said that she went to every single police officer to request that they remove the two buses causing the snarl, but received no reaction or response.
However, Mahajan was seen trying to listen to her concerns and even instructed the removal of the two buses, allowing the traffic to flow again.
The incident took place last Tuesday in Mumbai's Worli area, where Mahajan was leading a protest demonstration over the women's reservation move in Parliament.
