Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing will arrive in India on May 30 for a visit aimed at strengthening diplomatic and economic relations.
During his six-day visit, Hlaing will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 1 and participate in a business forum.
He will also travel to Bodh Gaya and Mumbai for business and industry interactions and site visits.
India has concerns about anti-India separatist groups operating in Myanmar's Sagaing Region, but the government has signaled its willingness to engage with the new regime due to security concerns.
