A show-cause notice has been issued against a police official in Nagpur for allegedly failing to attach the suicide note of a NEET aspirant to the case papers.
The note was discovered by the family members days after the 18-year-old Akanksha Chaturvedi's death, who had hanged herself in her room on May 20.
Chaturvedi had written the note after appearing for the exam on May 3, stating that there was 'no guarantee' she would score well in the retest ordered by the National Testing Agency.
A further probe is underway, with all aspects mentioned in the note being examined.
