Union defence minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the Navy's memorial museum, Nausena Shaurya Vatika, in Lucknow, highlighting its significance as a symbol of patriotism and military pride.

The two-acre complex, built near Ekana Cricket Stadium, showcases the Indian Navy's valour, bravery, and service to the nation.

Defence minister Rajnath Singh praised the Indian Navy's crucial role in securing the country's maritime boundaries and protecting national interests.

A submarine will soon be installed at the naval memorial, and a tank will be placed at an important intersection in the state, as suggested by chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi emphasized the importance of the Indian Navy in ensuring safe passage of maritime routes and the state's connection to the sea through rivers like the Ganga and Gomti.
