A chatbot on X also suggested that the clip was AI-generated, further fueling the rumors. However, the Jerusalem cafe where Netanyahu was seen in the video confirmed that he had visited and posted photos with him.
The rumors surrounding Netanyahu's fate began after Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in joint US-Israel strikes. Posts claiming Netanyahu's death or serious injury started surfacing soon after, with the cafe clip being seen as an attempt to quell these rumors.
