Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appointed two new full-time members to NITI Aayog: Joram Aniya and R Balasubramaniam. Their appointments will be effective from their assumption of charge and will continue until further orders.
Joram Aniya, a renowned academician from Arunachal Pradesh, brings over 18 years of experience in teaching, research, and public policy engagement. She has made significant contributions to literature, culture, and indigenous knowledge systems, and has authored several books and research publications on Nyishi literature and culture.
R Balasubramaniam, also an academician, is a member-HR at the Capacity Building Commission under Mission Karmayogi. He has authored several books, including 'Power Within: The Leadership Legacy Of Narendra Modi,' which focuses on the 50 years of the prime minister's public life.
