A new song featuring Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt has sparked a major controversy over its purportedly sexually explicit content.
The music video and lyrics of the song 'Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke' from the upcoming Kannada film 'KD: The Devil' have been criticized for their vulgarity, with several prominent figures, including filmmaker Onir and actor-politician Kangana Ranaut, speaking out against it.
The song has since been removed from YouTube, but the Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil versions are still available on the platform.
Raqeeb Alam, who was credited for the Hindi version, has distanced himself from the row, saying he had refused to write the lyrics and was only asked to translate the original Kannada version.
The film's team is planning to release a fresh version of the song with clean lyrics and an apology note.
