A Patna court has extended the protection from arrest for educator Faisal Khan, known as Khan Sir, in connection with a coaching institute firing case until June 30.

The case relates to a June firing incident after Khan Sir's coaching institute was allegedly vandalized by miscreants.

Khan Sir's security guards are accused of opening fire during the incident, and he was named in the FIR.

The court granted him protection from arrest on June 9, and the latest hearing has been deferred for arguments until June 30.

Khan Sir's lawyer said he is cooperating with the police and the investigating officers.
