Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, condemning attacks on energy and civilian infrastructure in West Asia.

During their telephonic conversation, Modi reiterated the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation and keeping shipping lines open and secure.

He also expressed gratitude for the king's continued support for the Indian community in Bahrain.

This was the second time Modi spoke to the king since the US and Israel attacked Iran on February 28.

The prime minister has spoken to several world leaders, including those from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, France, Malaysia, Israel, and Iran, since the conflict began.
