Modi congratulated both leaders on their electoral victories and RSP’s resounding success in the Nepal elections, expressing India's commitment to work with Nepal's new government for mutual prosperity and well-being.
The RSP emerged as the biggest winner in Nepal's general elections, which were held last week after the country's government was ousted due to widespread protests led by the youth.
The results reflect Nepal's population's frustration with issues such as political instability, corruption, and youth unemployment.
India and Nepal relations are expected to scale new heights with joint endeavours, Modi added.
