Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a surprise stop during his election campaign in West Bengal, indulging in a packet of 'Jhalmuri', a popular Bengali street food. The PM shared a video on his official X handle, captioning it 'Jhalmuri Break in Jhargram!'.

Modi is seen asking a street food vendor for a packet of Jhalmuri, greeting the shopkeeper, and inquiring about the cost. He then hands over the money, insisting that the shopkeeper accept it.

PM Modi also posted photos of himself enjoying Jhalmuri, sharing it with supporters surrounding him.

Amidst a hectic Sunday, Modi savored the spicy puffed rice in Jhargram, stating that the elections were for 'saving the identity of Bengal' and to 'save the rich heritage of this land.'

He accused the ruling Trinamool Congress of neglecting the region, questioning what the TMC had given to the people of the district in the past 15 years.
