Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived at Noida International Airport for the inauguration of Phase 1. He is accompanied by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath. The airport, set to become the second international airport serving the Delhi-NCR region, has been delayed multiple times. Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the first phase at 12 noon, marking a significant step in strengthening the country's airport infrastructure.
The airport will serve as a primary international airport for major Uttar Pradesh cities and act as a gateway to several pilgrimage and tourist destinations. A traffic advisory has been issued ahead of Modi's visit, with entry routes being earmarked, parking zones segregated, and commercial vehicles diverted.
