Congress leader Pawan Khera has questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's accountability in the NEET-UG paper leak issue, saying intervention comes only after incidents occur.

Khera asked why the Prime Minister starts monitoring the issue only after something has happened, and questioned whether he would resign whenever a paper leak occurs.

The Congress leader also targeted Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, saying he isn't being held accountable for anything.

The Supreme Court has directed the Centre to file an affidavit detailing a mechanism to prevent NEET examination controversies.

The Court observed that the National Testing Agency (NTA) must possess the necessary physical and intellectual wherewithal to prevent such incidents.
