Prime Suspect in Ghaziabad Teen's Murder Killed in Police Encounter

A prime suspect in the murder of a 17-year-old boy in Ghaziabad's Khoda area was killed in a police encounter near Vasundhara early on Sunday.

According to officers, the police received information that the prime suspect was trying to flee and was spotted on a bike with another accomplice.

The police were conducting checks by putting up barricades, and the bike was spotted. The men were asked to stop, but they did not comply and also opened fire at the police.

The police fired in retaliation, and Asad sustained gunshot injuries. His accomplice fled the spot.

The 17-year-old boy had gone to a neighbourhood street in Lokpriya Vihar, where the prime suspect and his friends were present.

The two allegedly got into an argument over a motorcycle, following which the suspect allegedly pulled out a knife, stabbed the 17-year-old, and fled.

The victim was rushed to a hospital in Noida by locals and his family, where he succumbed to his injuries on Friday afternoon.
