Navjot Kaur Sidhu, the wife of former Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, has launched a new political outfit called Bharatiya Rashtrawadi Party, two months after being expelled from the Congress party.
Kaur, a former MLA from Amritsar East, made the announcement on microblogging site X, stating that the party aims to provide justice and peace to the people and work with the energy of higher consciousness.
She plans to lead Punjab to achieve its long-lost glory as a 'Golden State' where people value love, sharing, justice, and selfless service.
Kaur was expelled from the Congress party after repeated criticism of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Punjab Congress chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring.
