Yathindra Siddaramaiah expressed confidence in being inducted into Chief Minister-designate DK Shivakumar's cabinet, citing a promise from Rahul Gandhi. He dismissed speculation about a deputy chief minister post.

Shivakumar and outgoing CM Siddaramaiah traveled to New Delhi to consult with the Congress leadership on cabinet composition. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday at 4 pm.

Party leaders indicated that not all ministerial positions may be filled immediately, with the first round of inductions potentially limited to 10 ministers.

Congress MLA Ashok M Pattan suggested that the rest of the cabinet could be finalized in the first week of next month after Legislative Council and Rajya Sabha elections.

Shivakumar outlined his vision for the education sector, emphasizing the importance of artificial intelligence in the state's future policy direction.
