Congress leader Rahul Gandhi marked his second year as Lok Sabha's Leader of the Opposition, reiterating his commitment to fighting for the country's people. Over the past two years, Gandhi has been dedicated to amplifying Indian voices in power corridors, taking on various battles including NEET aspirants' rights, electoral fraud, and defending the Constitution.

Gandhi, who has been a stalwart in Indian politics since 2004, has continued to lead the charge despite a 2019 defeat in Amethi. He has since been elected from Wayanad and has raised key demands, including a caste census, which the government has agreed to include in the 2026 decadal census.

Gandhi has also been a vocal critic of the government's economic policies and has demanded the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over paper leaks.
