Rajasthan's Kota Rural Police Sets High Standard with Nearly 100% Complaint Disposal Rate

Kota Rural Police in Rajasthan has achieved an unprecedented milestone, disposing of nearly 100% of electronically recorded complaints in 2025. This outstanding performance has earned them the top spot among police units in the state, with a remarkable efficiency rate of 99.83%. The jurisdiction under their control has also witnessed a significant decline in serious crimes, with murder cases dropping by over 23%, attempted murder by 8.57%, and kidnapping and abduction by 34.53%. Moreover, robbery cases decreased by 54.55%, burglary by 25.76%, and theft by nearly 23%. Crimes against women have also seen a reduction of 6%. The police's efforts have been particularly notable in recovering missing people under operation 'Sudama', tracing and reuniting 150 individuals with their families. Additionally, they have made substantial progress in combating drug trafficking, registering 133 cases, arresting 195 individuals, and seizing illicit narcotics worth over ₹6 crore. The police have also taken action against the illicit liquor trade, excise cases, and arrested 547 people. Their efforts to curb repeat offenders and organised crime have been equally impressive, with over 2,000 anti-social elements arrested. Furthermore, road safety initiatives have led to a 13% decline in road accidents. The police's tireless efforts have made a significant impact on the community, showcasing their dedication to maintaining law and order.
