Mumbai-based Vishwa Sindhi Seva Sangam (VSSS) has written to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust demanding accountability for 200 silver bricks worth ₹1.5 crore donated in 2021.

The organisation, which represents the global Sindhi community, sought information on how the silver was utilised in the temple and what plans were in place for its future use.

VSSS international chairman Raju Manwani stated that the community is 'angry and discontent' over the lack of a receipt for the donation and fears it may deter future donations.

The organisation will wait for the SIT's probe to be completed, hoping 'the guilty will be punished'.
