Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has demanded a fair delimitation for southern states, warning that his state will not accept any decision taken by the Centre without its consent.

Stalin posed a series of questions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, including why the delimitation process is being shrouded in secrecy and why a special session of Parliament is being convened in the middle of state elections.

He alleged that the Union government is brushing aside the fair and reasoned demand of Opposition leaders to hold the special session only after April 29 and is trying to hide something.

Stalin further said that forcing through constitutional amendments without even convening an all-party consultation is nothing short of dictatorship.

He also slammed the Election Commission for transferring the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu, terming it as biased and an excessive political action.
