A 38-year-old software engineer, Shampa Pathak Pandey, was killed in a parking area after being hit by a speeding car in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

The incident occurred following a dispute between residents and the family of a penthouse owner over renting the property through Airbnb.

Pandey, an Infosys employee, succumbed to injuries at Bombay hospital.
