Nisarga Adhikary, a 19-year-old cybersecurity expert, has been appointed as an engineer at IIT Kanpur's C3iHub after exposing vulnerabilities in the Central Board of Secondary Education's on-screen marking system.

Adhikary's blog post detailing the flaws in the OSM system caught the attention of IIT Kanpur director Manindra Agrawal, who reached out to him for the job.

As an engineer in IIT Kanpur's cybersecurity team, Adhikary will analyze publicly available information and identify vulnerabilities in websites and applications to help organizations address and patch potential security flaws.

Adhikary, who cleared his Class 12 exams this year, has been appointed on a contractual basis and will work on building his skills and experience in the field of cybersecurity.
