Tej Pratap Yadav, the former Bihar minister and current president of his own party, is set to star in a reality show called 'Bhojpuri Bawaal'. The show will follow the lives of famous people, including Tej Pratap, who has a massive following on social media. With over 30 lakh followers across platforms, Tej Pratap's online persona is a far cry from his political life, where he remains expelled from his father's party, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), over a personal relationship.

Tej Pratap's social media presence is a reflection of his multifaceted personality, which includes his love for big cars, spirituality, and the supernatural. He has two separate Instagram pages, one for his lifestyle and another for his spiritual pursuits, where he shares videos about Lord Shiva and the meaning of sacred ash.

The reality show, which may be telecast in June, will follow participants through their daily lives with no tasks, no eliminations, and no manufactured drama. Tej Pratap will be competing with other celebrities, including singers and actors Pawan Singh, Nirahua, and Amrapali Dubey.

Tej Pratap's politics is turning in the meantime, with him forming the Janshakti Janta Dal (JJD) in September 2025 and contesting the Bihar assembly elections from Mahua, where he finished a distant third. He has also met with Jan Suraaj Party's Prashant Kishor, the strategist whose own poll debut got zero seats in Bihar.

On his social media handles, politics directly touches barely one or two feeds, and he is closest to being a reality TV star on 'TY Vlogs', where he shares seemingly unscripted glimpses into his world. He has also launched a new 'Sant' page, where he shares devotional content, including videos about Lord Shiva and the impermanence of all earthly things.
