Telangana Braces for Severe Heatwave Conditions Until April 16

India's Telangana state is facing intense heatwave conditions, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing an orange alert until April 16. Maximum temperatures have crossed 42 degrees Celsius in 22 places, with Macherla village in Nizamabad district recording the highest temperature of 43.2°C.

Several districts, including Adilabad, Asifabad, and Nirmal, are expected to record highs between 42°C and 45°C, while Hyderabad may experience sustained high temperatures of around 40°C to 42°C.

The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) has also warned of severe heatwave conditions across several parts of the state, with 51 mandals expected to experience severe heatwaves and 49 mandals experiencing heatwave conditions.
