Penpa Tsering, the head of the Central Tibetan Administration, has outlined his priorities for his second term, focusing on a peaceful resolution to the Sino-Tibet conflict, welfare of the Tibetan diaspora, and adopting technology to improve governance.

Tsering stated that back channel contacts with China remain active, despite being inconsequential at present, and emphasized the need to engage the international community in seeking a middle way of greater autonomy for Tibet.

He also highlighted the importance of looking after the welfare of Tibetan communities in India and Nepal, as well as building leadership within the younger generations of Tibetans.

Tsering expressed his satisfaction with the Indian stand on the issue of Tibet's reincarnation, stating that he believes India will be on the right side of history in these matters.
