West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee met with party counting agents, urging them to remain vigilant and report any irregularities during the counting process.

The two leaders held a virtual meeting with agents from 291 assembly seats, assuring them that the TMC will secure over 200 seats and warning them against exit polls and propaganda from the BJP.

Mamata Banerjee instructed agents to update the leadership regularly and to insist on recounts if a TMC candidate loses by a narrow margin.

Abhishek Banerjee also targeted the Election Commission, alleging that it had functioned in favour of the BJP and vowed to initiate legal action against observers accused of acting unconstitutionally.
