Trinamool Congress MP Saayoni Ghosh has denied allegations linking her to a Kolkata property associated with Abhishek Banerjee, calling the claims 'fake news'. Ghosh, who has been in the spotlight after alleging an open death threat from a BJP leader, warned of legal action against those spreading the allegations.
In a post on X, Ghosh denied owning a property at 19 D Seven Tanks Road, Kolkata 700030 with Banerjee, saying her financial disclosures were already in the public domain through her election affidavit.
The actor-turned-politician also warned detractors against attempting to defame her without evidence, saying 'Legal action will be taken for spreading fake news. This 'Ghosh' wont be bullied.'
