The last rites of former actor-model Twisha Sharma were conducted on Sunday evening in Bhopal, following her second post-mortem examination.
Twisha, 32, was found dead at her home on May 12, with her family alleging harassment and abuse over dowry.
Her husband, Samarth Singh, who absconded for 10 days, surrendered to the police and is currently in custody.
Twisha's brother lit the funeral pyre, while her mother-in-law, a retired judge, did not attend the cremation.
The AIIMS Delhi team is still compiling the post-mortem report, which will take some time due to laboratory tests.
Samarth claimed their relationship soured after Twisha learned of her pregnancy, but her family rejected his account.
