Two boys, aged 10 and 12, have been accused of raping a nine-year-old girl in Hathras district, Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred on Friday when the minor victim went to a forest to collect fodder.
The two boys allegedly lured her into a wheat field on the pretext of berries, where the 10-year-old boy held her down while the 12-year-old boy raped her.
The victim, a Class 4 student, narrated the ordeal to her family upon her return home, leading to a formal complaint being lodged with the police.
A case has been registered against the two accused under the POCSO Act, and they have been detained and sent to a juvenile home in Hathras.
