Union Minister Hardeep Puri's daughter, Himayani Puri, has filed a defamation suit in the Delhi High Court seeking a takedown of allegedly defamatory content linking her to child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In her suit, Puri has sued 14 individuals and entities, including YouTube channels and digital news portals, for publishing false and misleading content across social media and intermediary platforms.

Puri has alleged that the defamatory content was strategically propagated through sensationalist and manipulative formats, including edited videos and misleading captions, to maximise public outrage.

The suit stated that Puri was being targeted in a coordinated and motivated manner to malign and discredit her solely because she is the daughter of a Union minister.

Puri has sought ₹10 crore in damages and has urged the court to restrain the defendants from publishing more material of the kind.
